CASE STUDY

 Red Card Against Bullying

ACTIVATION

In partnership with the Santander Bank and Playworks, the New England Revolution launched their #RedCardAgainstBullying campaign to encourage positive play environments that support inclusivity and eliminate bullying in schools.

To show support, all 16,236 fans in attendance held up the anti-bullying Red Card available at every seat during the 27th minute of the match, symbolizing the 27 percent of Boston children who reported being bullied during the school year.

Over the remainder of the season, every Revolution assist also earns a donation of $1,000 from Santander to the New England Chapter of Playworks.

The club set out to create a heartfelt and exciting activation to garner attention during the #RedCardAgainstBullying match for over 16,000 home fans in attendance.

Every fan discovered an 11x17 poster placed at their seat in addition to a pack of two #RedCardAgainstBullying silicone friendship bracelets.

Fans were given two bracelets - one to keep, and one to give away to a friend, family member, or stranger to spread the anti-bullying message outside of stadium walls.
